The Business Applications team @ 8x8 is a global team managing all the IT applications critical to operating our business. We are kicking off a major transformation of our business processes and application architecture to enable 8x8’s future growth and better serve our customers in the long run. As part of this transformation, we are looking to onboard a Business Systems Analyst focusing on our Billing and Revenue processes and applications. This will be a key role that will be responsible for taking our legacy billing processes to a SaaS model. This is a challenging role whose deliverables will be visible to a variety of stakeholders including executive management, customers and partners.
What you’ll do:
· Own and deliver the roadmap for the Billing and Revenue areas.
· Meet with business stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements.
· Facilitate discussions among business owners, architects and delivery leads to determine the best solution for critical problems through working sessions, new process mapping, and process redefinitions.
· Document detailed requirements in the form of PRDs, wiki pages, Jira stories, process flows etc.
· Manage product backlogs for multiple Scrum teams.
· Manage the deliverables of one or more Scrum teams, either in partnership with a TPM or independently.
· Define, measure and report KPIs critical to the success of the initiatives you are responsible for.
· Provide training to end-users.
· Evaluate implementation options/vendors and provide recommendations on the scope and scale of effort required to develop a solution.
Requirements
· 7-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst in Scrum or Agile development environments.
· Experience implementing and / or managing a SaaS Billing Platform is required.
. Experience evaluating, implementing or integrating with a revenue recognition system like RevPro, Netsuite ARM etc. will be a distinct advantage
. Payments experience (credit cards, ACH, Direct Debit) will be a big plus.
· Familiarity with any of the following would be an added advantage: Salesforce, CPQ applications (Apttus, Salesforce, Vlocity).
· Experience working for a SaaS company is helpful but not essential.
· Experience working with SaaS applications will be a big plus.
. Experience in building complex integrations across multiple business applications to deliver scalable and reliable end-to-end business processes.
· Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with Project Leadership, Product Managers, Product Engineers, QA/QE and business stakeholders.
· Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
· Degree in Computer Science, MIS or comparable technical degree.

The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
