We are looking for a Brand and Communications Specialist to develop and execute internal communications and assist in 8x8’s employer brand through the creation of pictures, videos, blogs, and other social media assets. 8x8 and their employees have an amazing story, and we need your help to show it to the world.

The responsibilities include producing exciting new videos on company culture, writing content from scratch, and optimizing written pieces to increase user engagement on Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed. You will work closely with the communications team to evaluate and improve internal communications that speak to our employees. If you have experience in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Figma, and SEO, we’d like you to consider joining our team! Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategy and design for internal communications and external content

Promote the dynamic company culture of 8x8 through creative assets

Create messaging initiatives through video, email, and social media (including scripts)

Edit content through Adobe Premiere

Build creatives from scratch that showcase 8x8 employees

Update our internal website and social media pages with new content

Interview industry professionals and create content around them

Improve illustration in collaboration with the marketing team

Optimize published pieces through social media

Generate new ideas around industry-related topics

Monitor user engagement and act appropriately to trends

Strong written and oral communication skills

Proven work experience as an editor through the Adobe Suite

Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator

Excellent editing skills with attention to detail

Ability to remain flexible and change direction as needed

Desire to learn and improve your skills

Portfolio of published work

Base Pay Range:

*The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
