THE JOB:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Evangelist to join the 8x8 brand team to amplify our “communications for the customer obsessed” brand messaging and our strategic focus to lead with Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and our XCaaS (integrated contact center/unified communications) platform differentiation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our messaging and strategy and advocating 8x8’s benefits and differentiation to prospects, customers, partners, and the wider industry.
What You'll DO:
-Work cross-functionally with brand, demand generation, product marketing and management, and other key stakeholders inside and outside of marketing, to develop a product evangelism strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, brand, and values.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute events, such as conferences, user groups, partner roadshows, and trade shows, to promote our contact center and XCaaS story.
-Represent 8x8, serve as a speaker, and engage customers, prospects, industry analysts and influencers, and other related parties at in-person and virtual company and industry events and conferences, sharing 8x8’s vision for contact center and XCaaS innovation.
-Create compelling content such as event presentations, podcasts, interviews, videos, and blog/social posts that educate and inspire customers, partners, and prospects around 8x8’s strategic focus and our product offering that supports this focus.
-Be viewed as an influencer in the #CCaaS, #UCaaS, #CX, #contactcenter, and #custserv communities by participating regularly in related groups, chats, hosted shows, podcasts, and other online events.
-Create and obtain opportunities for other 8x8 executives to serve as evangelists. Stay up-to-date with and regularly share with key stakeholders the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our brand ahead of the competition.
-Engage, inspire, and grow the 8x8 Community by sharing industry and 8x8 news, trends, and best practices.
WHAT YOU BRING:
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in product evangelism, product marketing, or a similar role in the technology industry.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various audiences.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
-Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
-Knowledge of the contact center industry and its key players is highly desirable.
-Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
-Experience with contact center software or related technologies is a plus.
-Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

*The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
