We are seeking for a Country Manager with Mobile Messaging/Emailing, Cloud Services, or Mobile Technology experience, hands on with international exposure in fast-moving environments, to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
This role suits a strong sales leader, with working contacts from local or regional E-commerce, Logistics business, Fintech, Insurance and the likes. It is a great opportunity for an ambitious and autonomous personality who enjoy challenges and aims for success with strong focus on new business acquisition (both local and overseas).
The candidate needs to demonstrate hands-on experience in building strong business relationships with senior executive across marketing, customer service, customer experience and technical teams.
Experience of working within a service or product driven industry will give candidates a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consummate and credible sales professionals selling 8x8 mobile messaging and cloud communication services to Enterprises and Application developers
  • Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for 8x8 to an agreed annual qualitative and quantitative target, increasing yearly.
  • Focused on winning the most relevant key players in vertical markets such as E-Commerce, Transport/Logistic, Digital Marketplaces, Bank and Insurance. And building great relationships with them.
  • Mentor and motivate sales team members to lead and drive the sales processes
  • Manage and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up to date
  • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to 8x8 are captured and explored

Requirements

  • The candidate will have exceptional leadership qualities and experience in building sales teams
  • Sales experience in technology industry, with exposure in the mobile messaging or cloud communications highly beneficial
  • Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take disciplinary action wherever appropriate
  • The perfect candidate is self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment
  • Excellent overview of the business to closely track industry and product trends to stay at the top of the game
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Customer driven focus and excellent people skills to establish a good rapport with customers
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels
  • Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and cope with pressure
