If you thrive on selling to the Public Sector at high-growth technology companies, you could be a key driver in our accelerating regional expansion.
As an Account Executive in our direct sales team, you would position solutions to all areas of Public Sector organisations, that would benefit from Cloud-based innovative Contact Center, Unified Communications, and Video Conferencing Solutions on a single platform with deep in-region post-sales and professional services support. Your mission is to develop a targeted amount of new business by creating and closing new customer opportunities in the UK. Qualified Leads are generated by the combined efforts of our marketing lead generation team, our channel organisation and telemarketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities within allocated target lists
  • Create a business plan/ pipeline detailing current and future business
  • opportunities.
  • Develop new customer opportunities and lasting relationships
  • Formulate sales plans and drive sales strategies
  • Provide customer presentations, demonstrations and articulation of the 8x8 value propositions at all levels
  • Create and lead "win" teams to drive customer opportunities including but not limited to Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Bid Response, Legal and Executive Leadership
  • Co-ordinate, respond and generate customer proposals, including RFPs and Tender documents
  • Support channel partners and develop relationships with key stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a successful Sales professional selling cloud based SaaS services/ Unified Communications / Contact Center Software
  • Consultative style yet tenacious
  • Customer focused, experience elevating yourself to Trusted Advisor status with customers
  • Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the sales cycle
  • Able to present accurate Return-On-Investment models for the proposed solution
  • Possess strong written documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Able to negotiate complex contracts to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Highly organised and able to plan for short, medium and long-term objectives
  • Proven attention to detail, ensuring complex and highly detailed requirements are satisfied to the highest level
  • Accountable – team player who leads by example and takes absolute ownership and responsibility for their actions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
