As we continue to evolve in the CCaaS space, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to play a key role in our marketing team.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting unique and differentiated messaging, building comprehensive go-to-market strategies for 8x8 Contact Center products, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment between product and sales.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for core 8x8 Contact Center product areas.
Plan or guide the launches of new products and releases of existing products, while managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product positioning, targeted buyer persona content, and messaging.
Craft compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience, highlighting key value propositions and competitive advantages.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Utilize insights to inform product positioning and identify market opportunities.
Collaborate with the content, brand, and customer marketing teams to create engaging and impactful collateral, including product guides, whitepapers, case studies, and website content.
Take charge of effective product launches by orchestrating cross-functional teams for flawless execution. Devise and execute launch strategies that evoke excitement and foster customer adoption.
Work closely with the sales team to develop tools and resources that enhance their ability to effectively communicate product value, including sales presentations, battle cards, and training materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
Proven experience in product marketing within the B2B SaaS space.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales and product management.
Creative thinking and a passion for technology and innovation.
Bonus Skills:
MBA or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field optional
Experience in the CCaaS space on either the vendor or analyst side; or direct management experience within a contact center
Experience with various consumer research methods, identifying insights and recommending data-based solutions.
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, charts and pivot tables)
Exceptional presentation skills
The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
