In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Human Resource Officer, serving as a trusted partner and leader within the human resource organization. You will drive 8x8’s total rewards philosophy, including compensation, reward & recognition, and benefits. As an experienced leader, you will be hands-on, with a deep understanding of total compensation. You will leverage your experience to deliver innovative and meaningful programs and solutions to the business. Through your leadership and visionary approach, you will be expected to balance key principles with a pragmatic approach.
Responsibilities:
Lead global rewards, compensation, and benefits functions to effectively design, implement, and communicate an overarching strategy, supported by programs, policies, and initiatives that move the business forward while aligning with the 8x8 business model
Play a key role in the creation of Compensation Committee materials. Support the preparation of the annual proxy statement, including the compensation discussion and analysis
Leverage knowledge of market conditions and competitive talent landscape to design tailored strategies for compensation concerning key talent segments. Benchmarking, incorporating research data, and trend analyses are essential to educating and informing 8x8 stakeholders on total compensation trends.
Be a key driver in the development, implementation, and administration of executive & equity programs company-wide, including annual and long-term incentive programs
Work collaboratively with various stakeholders on current and new plan design; this includes developing supporting analysis and communication materials
Review the mix of benefits offered to employees and assess their effectiveness; make recommendations to vary offerings based on current best practices, cost, and utility of benefits to employees
Manage and oversee the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and reporting of executive and equity compensation programs and initiatives
Drive company-wide understanding of 8x8’s total rewards programs, through communication and education
Report to senior HR Leadership Team on the team's production, activities, and efforts; plan and manage the team's program budget
Represent the team as an expert or resource to cross-functional projects or coordinating teams
Lead your global team to define, develop, and deploy global policies and procedures to ensure compliance
Maintain executive compensation processes and policies, including administrative tasks in support of executive and equity compensation administration, such as data auditing, cleanup, reporting, dashboards, modeling for new plan design, process improvement, and supporting other initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience; additional education and certification highly desirable
8+ years of relevant global compensation experience
Demonstrated executive level of gravitas with associated experience in working with CEO and Board of Director stakeholders
Public company experience mandatory, including equity management and allocation; EMEA & APAC experience preferred
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Work Day, ADP, and Paypaya highly advantageous
Proven data analytics, project management, and communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented is a must

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
