The VP Channel Sales role will be the leader for all Channel Sales activity in North America within 8x8. This role will focus on driving and expanding Channel engagement and will lead indirect sales, business and alliances with our TSD and agency partners.
Responsibilities
Create and execute on a multifaceted partner strategy to build and grow 8x8s presence to achieve business targets
Recruit, onboard and develop committed, loyal, agents regionally
Gather market data and identify untapped market potential
Continually assess, clarify, and validate partner needs
Work closely with the entire GTM organization on joint territory plans to execute our strategy in region
Track, measure and report-out on channel effectiveness against targets, and adjust programs and strategies as necessary
Understand our partners' businesses, and develop strategies and incentives to make them more profitable through our partnership
Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner strategy
Partner with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline and deal progression
Manage and scale a team that supports our partners and is focused on building pipeline, sales collaboration and executing on co-created business plan
Qualifications
Demonstrate progressive channel leadership experience globally within the SaaS industry
Demonstrable track record of success in worldwide channels strategic planning, owning sales targets and managing sales in a high-growth company
Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and team members
Experience selling within the SaaS industry
Record of recruiting and enabling top talent
Ability to travel 25% of the time
The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
