Overview:
As the Senior/ Director of IT Financial Systems, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of the key systems and processes that support 8x8’s financial operations.
Key financial systems and responsibility include ERP, Billing & Payment Systems, Tax & Commission, with a detailed experience of CPQ processes such as order and contract management.
You will oversee the design and management of financial technology, ensuring it aligns with best practices and regulatory requirements.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to create efficient and effective billing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop the vision and strategy for IT Key financial systems, ensuring alignment with 8x8’s overall goals and objectives.
Lead the planning, development, and enhancement of systems and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Curate and communicate multi-year roadmaps
System Management:
Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance
Ensure billing systems support various billing models (one-time, subscription, usage-based, etc.) and can accommodate business growth and changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with finance, product management, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
Lead initiatives to enhance the customer experience related to industry practices and systems.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all financial systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential billing-related issues.
Data Integrity and Reporting:
Establish data governance practices to ensure accuracy and integrity in billing data and reporting.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Promote continuous improvement through ongoing training and development opportunities.
Experience
Multi-year experience with Salesforce, Netsuite and consumption based billing systems
QTC processes
Strong and demonstrated understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition, and related regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on billing systems or financial technology, and at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing complex billing systems in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in billing, such as automation, cloud solutions, and data analytics.
The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
Salary Ranges:
