Overview:
As the Vice President for Enterprise Sales, North America, you will lead the strategic direction, growth initiatives, and operational excellence across a designated geographic area focused on the CCaaS and the entire 8x8 portfolio, including UCaaS and CPaaS. Your primary focus will be to drive revenue, expand market presence within the Enterprise Segment, and ensure the efficient operation of business activities within North America.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive Enterprise strategy aligned with company objectives. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive positioning strategies within the Enterprise Segment in North America.
Revenue Growth & Performance: Drive revenue generation and profitability targets within the region. Direct and oversee sales, align and coordinate with marketing, and operational teams to achieve and exceed established goals.
Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor a team of managers and professionals across various departments within the region. Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and promote a culture of high performance and accountability. Continuously lead talent development and management to achieve 100% of targets by the FLMs and supporting Sellers.
Market Expansion: Expand market share and strengthen the company's presence within North America. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to enhance market penetration.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the region. Ensure a customer-centric approach by understanding client needs and providing solutions that exceed expectations.
Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across functions within the region. Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline processes, improve productivity, and maintain high-quality standards.
Financial Management: Collaborate with finance and other relevant teams to develop and manage budgets, forecast revenues, control costs, and optimize financial performance within the Enterprise Segment in North America.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports, metrics, and insights to senior leadership regarding regional performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Experience: 5 years of progressive sales experience in a similar regional or senior management role, preferably within CCaaS/CPaaS/UCaaS industry or related field.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Ability to drive organizational change and foster a culture of innovation and growth.
Business Acumen: Excellent understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and financial principles. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand client needs, anticipate market trends, and deliver solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred).
The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
