We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Analytics and Data Platform Devops team. In this role you will be part of a multi-regional organization and will be working directly with development squads and participating in their Scrum ceremonies. Close collaboration with different departments across the company such as Operations teams, Support teams, Engineering teams (Devs and QEs).
We are growing our services using AWS and Oracle cloud providers, migrating to Kubernetes for deployments globally and adding world-class monitoring to provide the most reliable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Design, create and deliver a highly available, flexible, low latency and secure cloud infrastructure
Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance
Write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at scale

Learn to maintain and improve data processing pipelines using services such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink and real-time analytics databases such as Apache Druid.

Work with development teams to make sure the applications fit nicely within the infrastructure and scalability/reliability/security is designed and implemented from the start
Collaborate with QE on building pipelines and automation for delivering and deploying applications to production
Flexibility for on-call duties (follow the sun model)

Qualifications
2+ years hands on experience in building or maintaining fault tolerant and scalable systems
Experience with Unix/Linux, cloud environments such as AWS (EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda)
Experience with infrastructure management (Terraform/Cloudformation)
Experience with configuration management (Ansible/Chef), CI/CD (Jenkins, GoCD)

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Scripting experience required (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Go lang, Rust
Tools-first mindset. You build tools for yourself and others to increase efficiency and to make hard or repetitive tasks easy and quick
Organized, focused on building, improving, resolving and delivering. Good communicator in and across teams, taking the lead
