The Deliverability Analyst is responsible for delivering and providing guidance on Acoustic Marketing packaged services and programs. In this capacity, they will serve as a trusted consultant to help instill product confidence, adoption and utilization. The role requires a technically strong consultant who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skills in both product knowledge transfer and product problem resolution.The Deliverability Analyst engages with a wide-range of clients, but typically focuses on unique initiatives pertaining to marketing technology implementation and adoption. A Deliverability Analyst advises clients on successful advanced product adoption and utilization. The bulk of their work will leverage proven methodologies, best practices and knowledge sharing while incorporating risk mitigation strategies into every project phase. They may often advise other consultants on Deliverability, who will deliver various services products and may coordinate with a project manager for the delivery of those services. Lastly, they are responsible for delivering services and documentation that exceed customer expectations.This role requires:
  • Strong technical understanding of Acoustic technologies, latest features and product roadmap
  • Excellent communications skills to outline service deliverables, engagement process and requirements
  • Project and Team coordination skills, including billing management
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as subject matter expert on email deliverability
  • Analyze and advise clients on email reputation, ramp up, throttling, related metrics/bounces, authentication, and MTA configuration
  • Analyze, investigate, troubleshoot, document, and track deliverability support cases and service engagements from initial response through resolution
  • Must be technically competent in Acoustic’s product suite and integrations with partner products
  • Must pass basic certification within 30 days of hire and professional certification within 90 days of hire
  • Able to deliver several packaged services and custom engagements (scoped consultant hours) simultaneously
  • Proactively provides continuous improvements to consulting processes and procedures and improvements are well documented and communicated to the team
  • Contribute to project plans for multiple projects which include the requirements definition, scoping, design, resource plans, schedules, dependency management, issue/risk management, project reporting/tracking and client communications
  • Prepares and reports on project deliverables and status to both internal and external stakeholders (oral and written) at various management levels including C-Level leaders
  • Drives troubleshooting product issue resolution which includes problem determination, issues resolution/plan and client communications
  • Delivers of high-quality, strategic value-add engagements around Acoustic’s solution areas and features in diverse client environments
  • Develops a strategic understanding of the Acoustic product family and Services methodologies to apply within customer engagements
  • Provides consultative advice for Acoustic product and services that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a client’s digital marketing campaigns and streamline operations to ensure best-fit
  • Functional knowledge of Industry verticals and key subject matters
  • Able to create stand-alone proposals for product consulting work and/or own section’s content within a formal RFP
  • Collaborate with sales on new or existing opportunities; able to influence re-negotiations as needed by sales
  • Up-sells and cross-sells services and identifies areas where custom solutions may be appropriate
  • Ensures project alignment with Acoustic Services standards and processes
  • Promotes knowledge sharing throughout the Services team
  • Adheres to target billable and client utilization targets as communicated by management
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional services experience in software implementation and technical consulting within a similar SaaS organization
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar role at a marketing, agency or services company
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with marketing automation technologies, including email marketing
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience and proficiency in email systems, ISP’s, data manipulation, databases, Flash and other web technologies (HTML, CSS, Web Forms, JavaScript, RSS, FTP, XML, APIs, Web Services)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with web-based applications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Project Management supporting mid to large accounts, preferably in the Professional Services group of a software product or consulting company
  • Minimum of three (3) years in digital marketing product consulting capacity
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with interactive marketing channels (email, RSS, SEM, social, micro sites)
  • Ability to gather business requirements and assimilate that information into Project Specifications or Statements of Work that further drive business strategy and needs
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), organizational, interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, multi-tasking, and follow through skills
  • Proven track record in risk management, escalation and scoping procedures
  • Strong leadership within team and cross function. Actively participates in team discussions and provides thoughtful insight and input into team and/or company-driven initiatives
  • Experience with social/local applications a big plus
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND TRAVEL:
  • BS/BA degree in related field required, unless there significant, relevant work experience
  • Masters degree in related field preferred
  • Approximately 20% travel required for this position
