RESPONSIBILITIES

Development Skillsets

  • Create custom objects, workflows, triggers, theForce.com IDE, migration tools, SOQL, SOSL, and web services
  • Design and develop solutions for tuheSalesforce.com platform, using Apex programming language
  • Design and write automated tests
  • Develop custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce Apex and Visualforce. Writes, tests, analyzes, and implements high-quality code according to specifications.
  • Follow development best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions, without creating technical debt or compromising security
  • Hands on configuration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, Managed Packages.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks in data ingestion workflows
  • Implement new features based on provided technical and user experience design
  • Optimize SQL generation for slow performing queries
  • Perform independent code reviews and certify code developed by yourself and other team members
  • Perform root cause analysis to efficiently identify and resolve problems and data loads
  • Understanding of other related but not limited to the following web technologies: SQL, SOAP, HTML and Salesforce.com Web Services APIs

Project / Team Skillset

  • Ability to take the initiative and work following company processes
  • Be a trusted advisor to business relationship managers, administrators, and Salesforce super user stakeholders by providing best practice expert guidance and direction for technical design and implementations in Salesforce.
  • Be an internal subject matter expert on technical aspects of salesforce in Lightning, Apex, Visual Force, triggers, working with Admins and architects.
  • Experience with functional processes across HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Services and Support.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high change environment
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and critical thinking skills are a must
  • Focus on user efficiency, solving business/customer issues, inventing creative solutions, and ensuring data accuracy across the system. Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices.
  • Manage projects throughout the entire software development life cycle (including design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support)
  • Responsible for adhering DevOps best practices and working in a professional manner as part of a team, respecting source controls and releases.
  • Understand Object Oriented concepts and the ability to implement them


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ development experience
  • Excellent understanding of Visualforce, Apex, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, best practices, and capabilities including APIs, security, authentication, etc.
  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Advance Administrator, Developer) preferred
