Job Title: Associate Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Support validation and processing of encounter data (837P/837I)
• Perform data quality checks and resolve submission errors
• Assist with system configuration, data mapping, and integrations
• Support testing and ensure HIPAA/X12 compliance
• Act as a point of contact for clients on data issues and requirements
• Monitor submission status, error trends, and data quality metrics
• Maintain documentation and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–2 years of experience in healthcare IT, payer systems, or data management
• Basic understanding of healthcare data standards (HIPAA 5010, X12, 837 transactions)
• Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools (preferred)
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage or CMS processes (a plus)

• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
