Program Manager
Operations
Pune, Maharashtra, India
Role Title: Program Manager / Sr. Program Manager
Location: Pune, India (Primary site leadership responsibility); relocation provided if need
Reports To: Executive Leadership - Managing Director India Operations
About this role
Veradigm India has a lot of transformation underway. AI-augmented capability hub building, integrated operations and operational excellence, talent development and culture building programs - each with its own stakeholders, timelines, and interdependencies. What we need is someone who can hold all of that together.
The role is the connective tissue across Veradigm India's most important initiatives. You will partner with the key stakeholders, keep the assigned programs on track, surface risks before they become problems, and make sure the MD India has an accurate picture of where things stand.
This role carries real strategic weight. You will be the person who ensures that Veradigm India's most important transformation programs do not just get started - they get finished, on time, to the standard we set, with measurable outcomes. You will need to read situations accurately to inform and influence senior stakeholders. The right person for this role has key awareness of organizational culture, thrives in a fast-paced environment, persistent, and politically aware - someone who brings structure to complexity and credibility to every room they walk into.
In essence, this role will drive execution of one or more major programs (strategic project or a group of strategically aligned projects), ensuring that commitments are delivered on time, within scope, to budget, and to the required quality standards. Operating at the most senior level with customers and/or internal stakeholders; managing business changes and implementing business strategies to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HRBP and Culture leads to program-manage Veradigm India’s associate culture building programs - including culture and fun initiatives, sports and wellness, communication skill-building, and other engagement initiatives - owning the program plan, tracking milestones, coordinating across stakeholders, and reporting outcomes to MD India.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to program-manage Veradigm India’s CSR and sustainability commitments - ensuring initiatives are scoped, funded, tracked, and delivered with the same rigor as internal transformation programs, and that impact is documented and visible to leadership and the broader organization.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to program-manage the campus hiring program - maintaining the calendar, coordinating between TA and business leaders, monitoring execution quality, and flagging risks before they slip.
- Partner with the India Leadership Team to coordinate cross-functional transformation workstreams - capability building, operational improvement, and strategic initiatives - take on program management of the execution-heavy workstreams, bringing structure, tracking, and stakeholder coordination from kickoff through delivery - ensuring each has a clear plan, an active owner, and is on track to deliver.
- Maintain a single, reliable view of all India transformation programs - milestones, risks, decisions, and open items - that executive leadership can trust at any point in time.
- Facilitate governance forums and working sessions that are purposeful: right people in the room, decisions made, actions assigned and followed through.
- Define and document program scope, objectives, and success metrics at program launch. Manage scope changes and escalate impact on timelines or deliverables as needed.
- Prepare crisp, decision-ready program updates for executive leadership - calibrated to what the audience needs to act, not just status summaries.
- Identify and escalate risks early, with context and a proposed path forward. Drive continuous improvement in how programs are planned and executed across India Operations.
Success Metrics
Within 12 months, this Program Manager will be expected to demonstrate:
- Programs delivered on time and within scope - with milestones tracked, risks surfaced early, and no surprises to leadership.
- All three workstreams (AI-augmented capability hub building, integrated operations and operational excellence, talent development & culture building programs) have active plans, clear owners, and status visible to MD India at any time.
- Governance cadence in place at a program level - working sessions are purposeful, decisions are logged, and actions are followed through within agreed timelines.
- Stakeholder partners (HRBP, TA, ILT, Operations and Transformation) report that coordination is adding value - reducing friction, not creating it.
- Executive updates and program communications are consistently clear, accurate, and decision-ready - not followed up for clarification.
- Risks and issues are raised proactively, with a recommended path forward - not surfaced after they have already become problems.

Our Values
We talk about values a lot at Veradigm. But we mean them as operating principles, not wall art. Here is what they look like in practice.
- Better Starts with Different: The best thinking at Veradigm has always come from people who see things differently. We are not looking for conformity. We are looking for perspective.
- Unreasonably High Standards: We set the bar high - not because we enjoy pressure, but because the work we do affects real patients and real clinicians. That matters.
- Outcomes that Matter: We are not here to be busy. We are here to move things. If the work is not making a real difference, we ask why and we change it.
- Make Decisions and Own Them: We do not hide behind process or wait for permission. We make the call, we own what happens next, and we correct course when we need to.
- No Silos, No Handoffs: When something needs to get done at Veradigm, the right answer is never 'that is not my team.' We stay in the conversation until it is resolved.
