We are looking for a Director, Pharmacy Implementation to play an important role at AndHealth. This position will require frequent travel to customer locations based on launch status and partner needs.

Remote with travel will be considered for non-local Columbus, OH residents.


This position will report to VP, Pharmacy Services. In the absence of a VP, Pharmacy Services, this position will report to the next level manager unless otherwise defined or assigned.

What you’ll do in the role:
  • Project Management
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones for pharmacy implementation.
    • Coordinate activities across stakeholders, including CHC leadership, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Oversight
    • Lead licensing process, including state pharmacy licenses and DEA registration.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including federal discount drug program requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Conduct discovery meetings with CHC partners to assess needs and define project scope.
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Facility and Technology Readiness
    • Oversee the design and setup of physical pharmacy spaces.
    • Manage the implementation of pharmacy management systems and integration with CHC IT infrastructure.
  • Operational Launch
    • Lead soft launch activities, including workflow testing and issue resolution.
    • Monitor performance and implement improvements during post-launch optimization.
  • Insurance and Federal Drug Pricing Program Contracting
    • Contract and negotiate appropriate commercial and federal payor contracts including the development of Federal Drug Pricing contracts and programs.
    • Contract and negotiate appropriate wholesaler terms for new pharmacy setup.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician or Pharm D strongly preferred.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare project management, or regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in healthcare or pharmacy settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal pharmacy licensing and compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and managing timelines and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and IT infrastructure integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% depending on customer needs.
