BARBRI is currently looking for a talented Supply Chain Analyst. We are a global learning company dedicated to meeting the legal education and specialized training needs of law students, attorneys, and other professionals throughout their careers. Our Supply Chain team helps deliver the content both physically and electronically to our customers. You will be working in the operations group focusing primarily on distribution and inventory management. We’re a small and agile group that needs to be able to adapt to the growing business needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Distribution and Logistics
- Work with our primary distribution partner along with other 3PL vendors to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitoring and reviewing daily feeds to our distribution partners.
- Supporting our customer service team in shipping-related disruptions that directly affect our end-customer.
- Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy and working with our accounting team for accurate billings.
- Monitor and review performance metrics.
- Inventory Management:
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-efficiency and product availability.
- Analysis of inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs and reduce waste.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose appropriate actions.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyze the end-to-end supply chain process to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain agility and responsiveness.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to improve lead times and overall supply chain reliability.
- Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Gather, organize, and analyze supply chain and production data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain and production performance metrics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with customer service, accounting, and operations teams to ensure alignment in supply chain activities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to address challenges and ensure smooth execution of plans.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Production Planner, Distribution & Logistics Analyst, or similar role
- Familiarity with cloud ERP systems (Netsuite experience preferred)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to prioritize and act
- Ability to operate with a “startup mindset” – comfortable with change and ambiguity
