As International Business Development Manager (Global-West), you will support business growth and development in the Global-West legal market with universities, law firms, agencies and other organizations. Territory includes Europe and the Americas. You will help to identify and support the creation of recurring revenue streams in these markets, account manage relationships, and develop lead generation and pipeline while supporting the establishment and growth of BARBRI’s brand, marketing and sales strategy in this market. You will be a key member of the International Business Development team and will establish a very close working relationship with BARBRI’s Sales and Marketing teams.
You will have a strong background in business development and, ideally, experience in sales and marketing directly to the European and/or Americas market.

Territory
As the International Business Development Manager, Global – West, your territory will be Europe, excluding the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Americas. There will be further prioritization of certain markets amounting to about 10 countries. This is to have a deliberate focus on key opportunities in non-domestic markets and to maintain current relationships already established.
Position Responsibilities
- Proactively support the Head of International Business Development in developing and maintaining BARBRI’s International B2C, B2B, and Agent Network with revenue streams to meet organizational, budget and strategic priorities.
- Develop a territory plan in the Global-West market with deliberate focus and prioritization on markets with the most opportunity.
- Creates, nurtures and develops a sales pipeline, including upsell opportunities, demonstrating the ability to meet and exceed financial targets. Accountable and able to acquire new business.
- Maintain and build international partnerships through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
- Ensures regular and strategic engagement with clients, prospects and industry connections.
- Relentlessly drives for high customer satisfaction and engagement improvement.
- Collaborates with others across the Business Development Team, Global Marketing Team, Sales Team, and Agent Partnership Network to execute the strategy.
- Owns the implementation of a practical and effective contact management strategy approach to acquire and retain customers.
- Provides accurate forecasting, up-to-date CRM records, and reporting as required on an ongoing basis to the Head of International Business Development and wider business.
Key deliverables
- Delivery of financial and performance targets, customer acquisition and strategic objectives (e.g. partnerships, signed contracts, conversions and enrollments).
- Accurate forecasting, feedback on customer evaluation, and reporting on market and competitor activity.
- Focus on territory mapping, identifying key stakeholders and building a gold-standard partnership approach.
- Demonstrate constant learning to be regarded by customers as a thought leader.
Qualifications and experience

- Demonstrable experience in sales and business development is a must, with a proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding targets and KPIs. C-suite level or Enterprise sales experience is preferable.
- Effective pipeline management, including prospect identification, setting appointments, effective qualification meetings, and sales cycle management to close new business.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Professional and impressive presentation and communication skills to varying audiences, including clients, agencies, and across the company.
- Sustainable account management and relationship building, including regularly scheduled meetings, client nurturing, feedback sourcing, problem-solving, reporting, and analysis of relationship success.
- Ability to process comprehensive data analysis and feedback to inform, develop, and adjust sales techniques and strategies. Responsive and adaptive to changes and demands in the market.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter who can innovate in a fast-paced market is accountable for actions, supports and collaborates with colleagues, clients, and peers to ultimately provide excellent results.
