We are seeking a motivated and experienced Events Marketing Manager (Contract) to join our team. As the Events Marketing Manager across the entirety of the BARBRI product portfolio, you will partner with Marketing Strategy Leads to create, maintain and execute virtual events and webinars that align with the overall marketing goals at a product and corporate level. The role of the Events Marketing Manager is a vital role in the marketing funnel and will orchestrate all aspects of marketing events from topic and speaker planning to post-event analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Webinar Execution: Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of webinar events, including presenter coordination, content creation, and technical setup. Guarantee that all aspects of webinar production are effectively managed to deliver high-quality, engaging events on time and within budget.
- Audience Acquisition and Engagement: Develop strategies to effectively register target audience members for the webinar, convert to attendees, and advise presenters on ways to maximize audience engagement during webinars. Utilize email marketing, social media, and other digital platforms to build anticipation and drive registrations, ensuring a wide reach and active participation.
- Content Strategy for Webinars: Work closely with content creators to develop compelling webinar topics and materials that align with our brand strategy and address target customer needs. Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure the content is informative, relevant, and engaging.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to leverage webinars as a powerful tool for lead generation and sales enablement. Develop follow-up strategies to nurture leads generated from webinar attendees, converting interest into actionable sales opportunities.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track webinar performance, gathering insights on attendance, engagement, and audience feedback. Apply these insights to continually refine and optimize future webinar strategies.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ensure seamless collaboration with all relevant teams, including marketing ops for registration processes and technology setup, performance marketing for promotional tactics, and the creative team for branding and design elements.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Collaborate closely with RevOps and Marketing Operations teams to guarantee seamless interaction between webinar platforms, email tools, video hosting with the CRM system. Actively contribute to conversations optimizing lead scoring models.
- Vendor Management
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in executing marketing strategies.
- Experience in the education or publishing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, with a focus on event promotion and audience engagement.
- Experience with various webinar platforms including Zoom, Adobe Connect and Eventbrite is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally and managing relationships with speakers and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with superior project management capabilities, able to manage multiple events simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
