Job Summary:

As the Product Content Coordinator, you will assist the members of the Learning Team with the project management of new and existing courses. This will include providing a range of administrative support in the development of new courses and changes to existing courses. The Product Content Coordinator will be a key member of the Learning Team and will establish a very close working relationship with the UK Operations Team and the US Learning Team. In particular, the Product Content Coordinator will assist these teams in ensuring the smooth planning, administration, and implementation of new courses and existing course updates.

You will be a part of a talented Learning Team and will maintain BARBRI’s relationships with external agents and partners. You will have a background in project management and preferably experience working in an educational or legal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and planning support to the Product Project Manager, Directors and Head of Learning and Product across a range of projects including content updating, filming and LMS updating.
  • Maintenance of internal project and content management systems – updating, monitoring, development and reporting of project completion against deadlines.
  • Liaise with the US Learning Team as required on new and existing product development and reporting.
  • Liaise with the UK Operations Team regarding course scheduling, course delivery systems such as the BARBRI LMS and Brightspace.
  • Assisting with the contract arrangements for external filming agencies including film scheduling, invoicing, editing and postproduction amendments.
  • Organisation of, and attendance at, on the day filming of course content in London (or other venues as required).
  • Learning content creation administration including video editing, uploading new content to and updating existing content on, BARBRI’S sharepoints, media storage system and learning management systems, and assisting in building content for BARBRI’s learning management systems as required.
  • Proofing and formatting of course content and liaison with BARBRI’s publishing and editing department to produce final draft and updated versions of course materials.
  • Administrator for document storage system, ensuring all Freelancer/IT/Supplier contracts are uploaded and retained.
  • Miscellaneous project and administrative support as required for BARBRI’s Global courses (for example, scheduling meetings, travel/accommodation/restaurant bookings and creating and circulating agendas and minutes of meetings).
  • Assisting with the preparation of tender/pitch/accreditation documents as required.
  • Assisting with marketing activities such as events, videos, podcasts etc.

As a member of the global team, you will

  • act as a role model and ambassador for the Company to enhance BARBRI’s brand awareness and perception.
  • carry out a wide range of activities to ensure the success of the BARBRI global business;
  • attend and contribute to team meetings; and
  • track and report projects to your line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or other relevant education level.
  • Project Management qualification is desirable or a willingness to undertake a Project Management Course/Qualification.
  • Experience of previously managing projects within an educational or legal environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about BARBRI’S SQE and other products.

Skills and Key Competencies:

  • Understanding of the needs of an undergraduate, postgraduate and professional legal audience.
  • Ability to communicate key messages across internal teams and to students (when required).
  • Ability to communicate at a high-level including communication with external stakeholders, e.g. filming agency.
  • High-level language skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced IT skills – particularly in project and learning management systems, word, excel, and film editing or a desire to learn these new skills swiftly.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages etc. and be confident working with and analysing data sets.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Adaptable to work environment changes, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyse information skillfully.
  • Take responsibility for the project tasks assigned and produce deliverable outcomes on time and to a high standard.


Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Travel Requirements: Some business travel may be required
