As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first line of communication with prospects in the B2B space as you build a strong pipeline of leads and support appointment-setting activity for the team. This will be through utilising Salesforce (our CRM system) and other lead generation tools, as well as through proactive outreach to prospects. We believe we have a significant opportunity to secure contractual relationships with mid-market and below law firms and as the SDR, you will be responsible for showcasing our offerings in a compelling way to this part of the market. The SDR will be a key New Business and Account Management team member and establish a very close working relationship with BARBRI’s Sales and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilise Salesforce and other lead gen tools to manage workflows and lead gen processes
- Make outbound cold calls and send prospecting emails
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
- Build trusting relationships with prospects to help qualify leads by ensuring high-quality, valuable customer interactions
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Schedule appointments for the B2B team with leads and prospects
- Meet and exceed KPIs
- Provide accurate reporting by keeping Salesforce up to date
Qualifications and Experience

- Experience as a sales development representative with a track record of exceeding lead targeting is preferable but not essential, as these skills can be taught if required.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email and an appetite for hunting new leads and opportunities
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter and tenacious
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team
- Strong organization skills
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
