Technical Product Manager – Coverity compiler / Functional Safety
Job Description and Requirements:
We are looking for a technical product manager to drive the product roadmap for our industry-leading Static Analysis (SAST) products in the areas of functional safety compliance and C/C++ compiler support. This role is based in our Bangalore office alongside a growing team of software engineers. Our product, Coverity, is used by many of the top companies in high tech, automotive, aerospace, robotics and other industries.
Job location : Bangalore (Hybrid) – Near Dairy Circle.
Key Requirements
- 10 Years of experience in Software Industry or related fields.
- 5+ years of technical product management, software development, and/or product owner experience.
- Familiar with ISO 26262-compliant Static Analysis tools such as Coverity, Klocwork, Parasoft, etc.
- Familiar with compliance standards such as MISRA, AUTOSAR and CERT
- Familiar with software development lifecycle and C/C++ development
- Experience working with products or services certified for regulatory compliance
- Experience with dependency management across software development teams
- Strong written communication skills including technical requirements writing
- Comfortable working with a global audience
- Bachelors or Masters / Phd of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science or a related field
Key Responsibilities
- Work with development teams to manage release plans and backlogs
- Work with customers and field teams to understand emerging requirements and workflows
- Prioritize customer requests and feedback
- Participate in industry working groups (MISRA etc.) to contribute to the development of new standards
- Deliver clear epics and user stories to engineering team
