Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, SaaS/Software Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Partner Agreements, and DPAs.
- Provide practical legal support and risk-based advice to business and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct legal research and assist with regulatory, compliance, and commercial legal matters.
- Support data privacy and compliance initiatives, including GDPR-related requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks.
- Maintain contract templates, legal documentation, and contract repositories.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies, processes, and playbooks.
- Utilize legal technology and AI tools to improve legal operations and efficiency.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel as required.
- Support legal operations and business activities during US time zone hours.
Candidate Requirements
- At least LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or supporting technology, software, SaaS, or commercial clients.
- AI and Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and use legal technology, AI tools, and business applications.
- Working knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Flexibility in hours; we will require US time zone support.
- Working from Pune office is required as on need basis.
