Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS infrastructure and cloud operations. This role is responsible for designing,implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our AWS environment while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, Linux and Windows server administration, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and monitoring. You will work closely with development, security, and IT teams to build reliable and secure cloud infrastructure and continuously improve
operational processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS
• infrastructure.
• Manage AWS services including EC2, ECS/Fargate, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3,
• IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECR, Systems Manager, CloudTrail, KMS,
• Secrets Manager, WAF, and Global Accelerator.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and costs, implementing
• improvements where necessary.
• Optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost
• efficiency.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Infrastructure & Systems
• Administer Linux and Windows servers hosted in AWS and on-premises.
• Perform operating system installation, patching, upgrades, security hardening,
• and lifecycle management.
• Manage VMware infrastructure where applicable.
• Configure and maintain networking components including VPCs, VPNs, DNS,
• DHCP, security groups, NACLs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and
• identity services.
• Automation & DevOps
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Infrastructure
• as Code and scripting.
• Develop and maintain automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible,
• PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure.
• Continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and operational processes
• through automation.
• Monitoring & Security
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch,
• Datadog, or similar platforms.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and compliance activities.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, CIS
• Benchmarks, and GDPR requirements.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Documentation & Collaboration
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational
• procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and other IT teams on
• infrastructure projects and platform improvements.
• Participate in infrastructure planning, migrations, upgrades, and technology
• evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure in production
environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking, compute, storage, security,
and identity services.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, RHEL, etc.).
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS/Fargate, or
Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, networking, VPC architecture, and cloud
security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch,
Datadog, Grafana, or similar.
• Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• Terraform Associate Certification
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Experience with Containers
• Experience with security services such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty,
Inspector, AWS Config, and IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO)
