Position Summary
- Prepare monthly carrier bills and payments along with the underlying supporting detail
- Reconcile monthly billing detail between client carriers and bswift
- Process monthly client payments through our online bank portal
- Record payments and monitor client balances in Quickbooks
- Consult clients on standard support processes and reporting, while considering client nuances.
- Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies between all parties: bswift, the client and carriers
- Act as an internal control check point by performing routine audits to confirm data credibility, ensuring reporting is reasonable and accurate.
- Identify appropriate cross-functional and external stakeholders to resolve client system and data errors
- Manage billing specific open enrollment activities
- Ensure that internal systems and process documentation are maintained and kept up to date
-Participate in special projects designed to improve billing services team operational efficiency and processes
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in client account management
- Experience with reconciling activities.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Familiarity with internal controls processes
- Strong communication skills, ability to be client-facing
- Self-starter with a positive personality who can contribute to the bswift culture, demonstrates initiative and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Client account management experience in the benefits admin or insurance space
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $55,000-$62,000 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
