WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Vice President, Product Portfolio Strategy, Decision support and AI will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning and development of bswift’s decision support, and artificial intelligence products. The successful candidate will be part of the product engineering leadership team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions):
1. Portfolio Strategy:
a. Develop and lead the overall portfolio strategy for the organization, aligning it with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
b. Collaborate with other senior executives to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, investments, and business opportunities.
c. Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
2. Decision Support:
a. Design and implement decision support tools to assist end users in making informed and data-driven decisions for their benefit choices.
b. Utilize data analytics, business intelligence, and other tools to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making.
c. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating tool effectiveness.
3. AI Strategy:
a. Develop and implement the organization's artificial intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
b. Identify opportunities for leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance business processes, efficiency, and innovation.
c. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI to maintain a competitive edge.
4. Team Leadership:
a. Build and lead a high-performing team, including agile product owners, data scientists, analysts, and strategy professionals.
b. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
c. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional development.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
a. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into strategic planning.
b. Collaborate with C-level executives, department heads, and other leaders to ensure alignment and integration of strategies across the organization.
6. Risk Management:
a. Identify potential risks and challenges related to portfolio strategy, decision support, and AI initiatives.
b. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of strategic plans.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience):
• Advanced Degree (MS, MBA, PhD, or equivalent) preferred in a relevant field such as business, strategy, or computer science. Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and decision support, preferably in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in AI strategy development and implementation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, and the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and emerging technologies, especially in AI and machine learning.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred education and experience):
• Experience working on products and solutions within the benefit administration domain.
• Experience with Agile SDLC

Standard working hours are 9am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $180,000-$220,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
