The bswift Communication Agency Account Manager is responsible for the overall client satisfaction of his/her book of business and delivering communication solutions to our clients. In this client-facing role, the Account Manager is expected to assist clients, resolve issues, and implement changes that can strengthen the bswift Communication Agency’s relationship with its clients.
The Account Manager will partner with the Communication Strategist and Communication Agency Director to bring projects from initial ideation stages to final completion. He/she is responsible for liaising between our clients, our creative team, vendors, and other bswift stakeholders while driving the moving parts and complexities of any given project, ensuring timeliness and quality for each deliverable.
Other duties and responsibilities of an Account Manager include:
Client management
• After scope is agreed upon, manage the finance and billing aspects for his/her book of business, including:
o Delivering service requests
o Documenting potential client sales in the Pipeline Monday board and seeing it through to final billing/revenue recognition
• Onboarding new clients and develop working relationships, managing the client to agreed deadlines and deliverables
• Collaborating with other bswift Communication Agency project managers when needed to meet client objectives and company goals
• Collaborating with bswift Client Service and Implementation teams to ensure coordination, visibility and knowledge share across bswift departments on behalf of the client; participate in client status calls and provide ongoing communication status updates
• Keeping documentation and records of client interactions
• Offering advice to clients on products or services and engaging the Communication Strategist when necessary to assist in the sales process
Project management
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for our clients
• Supervise and lead creative projects for a portfolio of clients
• In partnership with the MarComm Traffic Manager
o Create detailed schedules and set deadlines for various stages of a project
o Monitor projects, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly
• Utilize our project management system, Monday.com, to create schedules, and manage projects
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of multimedia materials according to client needs
• Liaise between clients, internal bswift teams and vendors
• Own weekly client updates, provide progress updates on project, and own open items list
• Partner with vendors to ensure print and digital deliverables are distributed correctly and on schedule
• Maintain job files and ensure all final files are posted to SharePoint
Content Management
• Mark up client deliverable documentation with changes and send to the creative team for updates
• Compile client changes to documents and deliverables, ensuring edits are applied across all campaign pieces where appropriate
Required Qualifications
• 5 – 7 years experience in a formal project management role, preferably in employee benefits communications.
• Exceptional planning, project management, collaboration and coordination skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Excellent people and time-management skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in workflow tools, such as Monday.com
• Proficiency with Microsoft-Based software—including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Advertising, or Journalism.
• Prior project management experience.

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description.
