What is the Role:

This is an internally-focused operations role whose primary stakeholder is the venture investment team. The analyst will play a pivotal role in streamlining operations, enhancing data management and supporting the investment team’s initiatives.

Candidate must be based in GMT +/-2.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Tech stack management

● Create and maintain tech stack for integrated investment process, with a continual push to increased productisation, efficiency and automation

Investment pipeline management:

● Own and manage investment pipeline process in CRM system

● Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the system

Reporting and KPI tracking:

● Track key KPIs for investment team

● Help produce monthly reports for the broader investment team

Cross-functional efforts

● Liaise with post-investment platform & investment ops teams to ensure data is seamlessly integrated across systems

● Work with Finance and Legal teams, keeping them appraised of investment pipeline

Knowledge management

● Build and maintain a knowledge base for venture investment team

● Prepare agendas and take meeting minutes when necessary; ensure investment decisions are appropriately recorded and filed

● Develop and update operational playbooks and templates

Relationship management support

● Support investment team in relationship management, including preparation for meetings and suggesting content

Market analysis

● Monitor broader VC landscape and update the team on relevant data and trends

● Maintain a data-driven list of top investors in ecosystem

● Produce market reports for external publication

Internal and external communications

● Ensure strong internal communications within Expeditions team, including maintaining knowledge management hygiene, and effective coordination with post-investment operations team

● Support event coordination and PR initiatives

What you’ll bring:

• Strong attention to detail and an obsession with process and data
• Proactive approach to building and optimising systems and processes
• A product-oriented mindset with proficiency in data and reporting software tools, including comfort with using no- and low-code tools to improve on existing systems
• Understanding of the VC industry and landscape
• Collaborative and a team player
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
