International Sales Director

We are looking for a highly skilled International Sales Director to lead our LATAm sales efforts. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining strong channel partner relationships, driving sales to Ministries of Education (MOEs) and large school groups, and scaling the sales team to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
In This Role You Will:
- Channel Partner Relationships:
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with channel partners across the LATAm region
- Collaborate with partners to create and execute joint business plans that drive mutual growth
- Provide ongoing support and training to partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote and sell Discovery Education products
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead sales efforts targeting Ministries of Education (MOEs) and large school groups
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
- Team Scaling and Management:
- Build and scale a high-performing sales team to support the growth objectives
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members
- Establish clear performance metrics and regularly review team performance
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the Global Sales Director and other regional sales leaders to align strategies and share best practices
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Core Competencies for Success:
- Strong experience in building and managing channel partner relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
- Fluency in Spanish, English and/or Portuguese is highly desirable
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the education sector
- Legal right to work in the United States
This is a remote position in California, Arizona or Texas. You will be expected to travel 2-3 days a week. The territory will focus primarily on Mexico (with potential to expand to other countries in Latin America). Employment and benefits will be through an EOR. The pay range for this position is between $115,000 - $130,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
