Organizational Effectiveness Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Organizational Effectiveness Director to join our People leadership team. This strategic leader will drive enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance organizational performance, accelerate growth, and foster a culture of engagement and adaptability.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior leaders to strengthen organizational design, employee engagement, internal communications, and learning programs that align with business priorities and culture. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will translate business strategy into practical solutions that improve effectiveness, readiness for change, and long-term growth.
This is a player–coach position requiring both hands-on execution and the ability to influence, guide, and support leaders and HR partners across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Organizational Effectiveness & Strategy
- Lead enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness strategies that enable growth, improve decision velocity, and strengthen cultural alignment.
- Advise leaders on organizational health, effectiveness, and readiness for change.
- Use data and employee feedback (surveys, diagnostics) to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive implementation with stakeholders.
- Employee Engagement
- Own enterprise listening strategies (engagement surveys, pulse checks), synthesize insights, and translate into action plans.
- Embed engagement practices into leader routines and team norms to increase retention and drive discretionary effort.
- Organizational Design & Change
- Contribute to organizational design (structure, role clarity, spans/layers, operating models) through analysis, option framing, and recommendations.
- Enable change via toolkits, playbooks, and templates (stakeholder maps, communications plans, readiness assessments).
- Coach leaders and project teams on change adoption; monitor risks and escalate as needed.
- Internal Communications
- Create clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications that reinforce culture, priorities, and change initiatives.
- Draft messaging and artifacts (FAQs, talking points, leader kits) and coordinate timing/channels (Town Halls, newsletters, manager cascades).
- Learning & Development
- Design and deliver scalable learning programs that build leadership capability and accelerate readiness for change (leadership capability, manager effectiveness, organizational skills, core people processes).
- Conduct needs assessments; define objectives, curricula, and modalities (workshops, micro-learning, blended learning, digital platforms).
- Apply adult learning principles (relevance, self-directed learning, experience-based practice, timely feedback, spaced reinforcement) to maximize transfer and impact.
- Leverage instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE) and evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick) to measure outcomes and iterate.
- Facilitate workshops and leadership sessions; adapt facilitation style to audience and context.
- Learning Administration & Analytics
- Administer LMS and analyze learning metrics to ensure compliance and optimize program effectiveness.
- Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Analyze and report learning metrics (completion rates, satisfaction, impact) to inform continuous improvement.
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, room setup, and post-session follow-up
- Collaboration & Influence
- Partner across HR and business units to align people strategies with enterprise priorities, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Influence without authority by framing options with evidence, building trust, and aligning diverse teams to shared outcomes.
- Model strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver results on time and within scope.
- Participate in developing learning plans and identifying training gaps across roles and functions.

Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational development, HR, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading engagement strategies, organizational design initiatives, and enterprise-wide learning programs.
- Proven consulting, facilitation, and executive-level communication skills; operates strategically while executing with discipline.
- Instructional design expertise with adult learning principles; experience with blended learning, digital platforms, and program evaluation.
- Proficiency in designing training content and using e-learning tools (Articulate, Canva, Adobe Captivate).
- Experience managing LMS, tracking compliance, and reporting learning impact.
- Strong ability to track, analyze, and report learning metrics (completion rates, satisfaction, impact).
- Experience with training logistics management, including scheduling, materials preparation, and post-session follow-up.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams preferred.

This role is designed to be on-site in our Charlotte headquarters.
The hiring range for this position is between $151,400 - $168,200 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an Annual Bonus.
