We are looking for a highly skilled Senior CEP Sales Manager to support strategic partnerships and business development initiatives. This role is an individual contributor focused on driving new revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying leads, and advancing partnership opportunities that expand Discovery Education’s impact in K–12 education. The Senior Manager collaborates frequently with cross-functional teams, works closely with the Senior Director, and partners with implementation and marketingteams to deliver solutions that meet partner objectives and advance educational equity. In This Role You Will:Identify, engage, and secure new corporate and nonprofit partners alignedwith Discovery Education’s mission and revenue goalsBuild and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities, fromprospecting to contract executionDevelop tailored proposals and presentations that address partner needs and demonstrate impact alongside Senior LeadershipWork with internal teams to design partnership programs that integratecontent, technology, and social impact objectivesMonitor trends in education, CSR, and technology to inform partnershipstrategies and territory managementDeliver on individual revenue targets and contribute to overall business unit growthCultivate relationships with prospects to advance long-term partnershipsRepresent Discovery Education at partner meetings and industry events (30–40% travel) Core Competencies for Success: Ability to identify opportunities and move them through the sales cycleThrives in a dynamic environment and adjusts strategies based on marketinsightsTakes initiative and manages tasks independently without heavy oversightRuns alongside Senior Leadership for entire sales cycle from prospecting,ideation and contracting Senior CEP Sales ManagerPassionate about education and social impact, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindsetHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Credentials and Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of partnership development and/or direct sales responsibilityProven track record in business development, sales, or nonprofit funddevelopment, ideally in education, technology, or social impact sectorsSkilled in consultative selling and building relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable creatingpresentations and proposalsExperience with CRM platform management (Salesforce), proficiency inpresentation design (Keynote or PowerPoint), Microsoft Excel, social media, etc.Ability to travel to partner meetings and industry events 30-40% of the timeValid driver’s licenseLegal right to work in the United States This is a remote role with travel across assigned states to support partner meetings, convenings, and workforce development engagements. #li-remoteThe hiring range for this position is between $96,650 - $107,400 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a Variable Target.
