We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with the passion and vision to bring a fully automated IaC, CaC, and GitOps driven operational model to life. You will work closely with the CTO, technical leads, developers, and System Admins to build a cutting edge capability that helps drive our ability to deliver the most capable platform in the industry. In this role you will establish configuration management, automate our infrastructure, improve continuous integration, and train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve automated deployments.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Design, build, maintain and monitor all infrastructure required to support the release pipelines
  • Perform deployments of each service as needed, with the goal of automating yourself out of needing to manually release software
  • Improve methodology to move releases safely from one environment to the next
  • Develop and/or improve standards and policies around proper software delivery principles, and encourage/promote CI/CD
  • Manage cross-functional requirements working with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments
  • Produce metrics, dashboards, and alerts that report on overall release quality and status
  • Assist developers with build/release automation
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all software builds

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in an Agile SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as AWS, Azure, DevOps, TeamCity, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD
  • Expertise in one or more release automation products
  • Skills with at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of C# desirable
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills, and the ability to set and enforce process and influence engineers who are not direct reports

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • System administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft's technology stack (Windows, SQL Server, SSRS, .NET)
  • Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
