We're looking to add an Associate Business Analyst (Associate BA) to our team! This is a highly visible position within the Client Services department and an ideal fit for candidates who are interested in the intersection of finance and technology. The BA bridges the gap between investment and software professionals by providing subject matter expertise and experience. The BA works as part of a team of Project Managers, Client Success Managers and Support Representatives in the implementation, delivery, and support of our clients using Dynamo, a Cloud-based investment management and reporting solution. This role will provide great learning and growth opportunities for individuals looking to expand their career.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work together with Senior members of the Client Services team on a variety of client implementations at any point in time while adhering to Dynamo project management guidelines.
  • Focus on separate tasks of medium- to large-sized implementations under mentorship from Senior individuals, or in certain occasions take ownership of smaller client and internal projects.
  • Attain a billable utilization rate target greater than or equal to what is determined by your manager.
  • Act as liaison between Clients’ front-, middle- and back-offices and internal Development teams by understanding investment industry practice principles and translating them into workable software solutions.
  • Help with migration and reconciliation of clients’ databases for CRM, Fundraising, Deal Sourcing, Partnership Accounting, and Portfolio Management product modules using Excel, and Dynamo Custom tools.
  • Help gather client requirements and perform QA for custom reports, workflows, and data integrations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Interest in alternative investment analysis and performance reporting. Experience is preferred.
  • Private Equity Partnership Accounting, and Portfolio Accounting principles and fundamentals
  • General knowledge of database structure that allows for quick understanding of data migration tools and processes
  • Technical Skills: proficient Excel. Beginner to intermediate SQL is considered an advantage.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry, specifically the alternative assets space is preferred
  • Progress towards CFA, CAIA, or advanced degree preferred
