We are seeking an Information Security Specialist in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Specialist will join a team of technology experts, collaborate with all teams across the board and be responsible for ensuring operational and architectural responsibilities in Information Security.

Your daily life:

  • Support company Information Security strategy and policies.
  • Help implementing the Information Security architecture and roadmap.
  • Provide security oversight from perimeter security to endpoint protection solutions.
  • Ensure all incidents are managed to resolution, logged, and reported appropriately.
  • Participate in projects from inception to implementation and provide post project support.
  • Provide expert level (Tiers 1 and 2) support for installed security applications
  • Perform vulnerability assessment of systems and web applications.
  • Assist in threat/risk assessments and deliver high level information reports for IT & Security management.
  • Assist with compliance efforts including evidence gathering and review for General controls, evidence gathering for audit and customer questionnaires.
  • Help educate and provide end user awareness & validate information security defenses by performing testing.
  • Coach IT teams on the different security platforms to improve their skill set and responsiveness.
  • Other tasks include incident triage and Ticket resolution.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Information Security role
  • Proficiency in EDR, SIEM and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Experience with Network Access Controls, Privileged Access Management, Email and Web Security.
  • Experience with cloud, network, and application security monitoring & incident response.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Eager to learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Easily able to execute on open projects and adjust to priority shifts.
  • Very good analytical skills, logical thinking, diagramming capability.

Ideal candidate will meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or equivalent qualification in IT.
  • CISSP, CISM, CEH Certification, Other Security Certifications.
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours in case of emergency.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements such as SOC2, ISO27001 is a plus.
  • Limited travel may be required.
