We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly driven individual to become a part of our growing Security team in the role of Cybersecurity Engineer.
Your daily life:
- Assisting in the implementation of the information security architecture and roadmap.
- Providing oversight on security from perimeter protection to endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensuring that all incidents are managed to resolution, properly recorded, and reported.
- Participating in projects from inception to completion and providing post-project support.
- Providing expert support (levels 1 and 2) for installed security applications.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments of systems and web applications.
- Assisting in threat/risk assessments and providing high-level information reports for IT and security management.
- Assisting with compliance efforts, including gathering and reviewing evidence for general controls, audit evidence collection, and client questionnaires.
- Helping to train and raise awareness among end-users by conducting tests to validate information security protections.
- Other tasks include incident triage and ticket resolution.
What you bring:
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or an equivalent qualification in the IT field.
- Excellent command of both English and Bulgarian
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements such as SOC2, ISO27001 is a plus.
- Valid Comptia Security+, Cisco CyberOps, CISSP, CEH or other security certificates.
- Previous experience with enterprise network technologies and security controls (i.e NAC, WAF, Zero-Trust, SWG, NGFW, etc.) will be considered as an advantage.
Professional Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an information security-related role.
- Proficiency in endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms, security incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with network access control, privileged access management, email and web security.
- Experience with cloud and network security.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Ability to easily execute ongoing projects and adapt to changes in priorities.
- Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking, and diagramming ability.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work outside normal working hours in case of emergencies.
- Limited travel may be required.
