SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
At E2open, Developers who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include requirements to actual code with high quality. You will work with the team in both India and USA to be part of the Design and Development of the data platform.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The role within e2open is an entry level position within the Development team, creating and updating programs to meet the needs of our customers. Using a variety of software languages, tools and techniques, the Software Engineer delivers high quality products according to the specifications outlined by Product Management according to the standards set across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working with the JSF/Struts framework and a strong understanding of Spring IOC, Spring AOP, and Spring MVC.
- Proficiency in front-end development utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON is required.
- Furthermore, experience in building automated processes for builds and deployments using Maven is highly desirable.
- Familiar with configuring and deploying web applications on WebSphere server and WebLogic. Proficiency in popular IDEs like Eclipse and RAD is expected.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and SVN is a plus. Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle and Postgres, is essential, along with experience in web services implementation. Knowledge of Angular is considered a valuable asset.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Java: J2SE,J2EE, Spring, Java 8 features, Collections, Proficient in Java 8 streams, XML, XSLT, Eclipse.
SQL: Writing SQL Queries
UT : Writing Unit Testing experience using JUnit
Build Tools : Gradle
Integration: Hands on Experience in REST. Micro services knowledge
UI: JSP, CSS, ES6, Java Script, Jquery,
CI: Jenkins, GIT(commands), Bit Bucket
Good Understanding of Agile Methodology , scrum
