POSITION OVERVIEW

This high visibility position reports to the SVP, Global Human Resources and will be instrumental in supporting employees and managers within India (approximately 1,600 employees). The role will take direct responsibility for managing a team of business partners supporting India. Under the leadership of the Director – Human Resources, this group will align business objectives and program deployment and measurement with employees and managers. Further, this role will take direct and personal responsibility for providing HR business partnerships to corporate leaders. You will work as part of a dynamic global team to influence global HR policy development and program delivery. The HR Team at e2open knows how to scale, and how to use technology effectively and strives to identify and adopt best practices. The successful candidate for the Senior Director role must be able to contribute to this dynamic.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Serve as the primary liaison to employees and managers in India in the handling of all human resource-related activities, which will include employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, staffing, onboarding, change management, communication and the interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Partner with business leaders to support the communication and transition plan on change initiatives impacting the business
  • Proactively lead in employee learning and development efforts using company systems or other resources
  • Provide relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to compensation, organization structure, turnover, promotion decisions, succession planning, and other activities
  • Be aware of changes in employment law, understand basic compensation practices and benefit administration
  • Develop and drive people engagement strategies that foster an “employer of choice” environment where all employees are accountable and feel empowered
  • Partner with outside counsel as needed for employment-related issues
  • Assume a lead role during acquisitions on assigned HR tasks
  • Take the initiative to create and implement key policies and programs that address India “people issues and challenges.”
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent in experience
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a rapid growth technology environment
  • 5+ years managing a team
  • Business Partner background is essential.
  • Manage HR operations team is to have strategic direction and some changes in automating the process and systems.
  • A fundamental understanding of global business dynamics
  • Interpersonal and communication skills which form the ability to build trusting and productive relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Possess intellectual curiosity about people and organizational issues
  • Apply excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently and follow through to closure
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills. Must be skilled at delivering presentations and proficient at writing clear business correspondence
  • Must be able to quickly analyze programs and use data to support their business leaders
  • Strong team-oriented working style with solid human resources and business acumen
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statutory laws and local legislation affecting the workplace
  • High level of integrity – must show good judgment and confidentiality always
  • Absolute attention to detail and accuracy, sense of urgency and ability to take responsibility and follow through
  • Tech savvy, experience with HRIS systems and MS Office
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic and at times ambiguous growth environment
  • Experience with M&A on the integration of newly acquired employees
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high-tech company environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
    • Placing and receiving phone calls
    • May require occasional travel if needed
