This role can be remote in most states but we are not currently accepting applications from residents of NY, CO, CA and WA.

E2open is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead sales and business development efforts to drive growth across our global sales teams. The Vice President of Sales role is a critical role that will interact and assist several clients across e2open’s customer base. The VP of Sales will lead commercial efforts to drive growth across our global sales teams. Growth comes from building our presence with existing customers as well as through the addition of new logo customers. We are looking for a broad Enterprise software sales background.


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Understand the customer’s current e2open products and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell e2open’s products within the assigned customer accounts.
  • Manage a team of Sales Directors to generate and close revenue opportunities across the entire e2open portfolio, into new logo and existing accounts.
  • Manage sales activity, day-to-day operations, and overall success of team.
  • Continuously manage the performance and development of the team through coaching, development, proactive leadership, and goal setting.
  • Leverage company sales best practices to secure a repeatable process to drive sales opportunities and customer engagement activities.
  • Prioritize the accuracy of data in all sales systems by monitoring the systems and coaching sales team on best practices.
  • Use reports to coach and provide visibility of the team’s performance relevant to goals.
  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS supply chain
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with customers, co-workers, and management
  • Experience of running regional and/or international sales teams focused on selling complex Enterprise level, supply chain solutions.
  • Proven background of growing sustainable, profitable SaaS business with a focus on commercial and customer success.
  • History of working within a medium/large global, matrixed technology/software business and will understand the importance of building effective relationships across regions, business units and corporate functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Possess and project a positive, professional attitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
    • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
    • Placing and receiving phone calls
    • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
  • Travel is required as needed and as approved
