Lead SaaS Operations Engineer

Overview

Edifecs is seeking a Lead SaaS Operations Engineer, who will be responsible for leading a team of associates, involve technically in the maintenance and operations of Edifecs SaaS solutions, continually seek ways to improve process efficiency, and most importantly continuously strive for customer success.

What you will do:

  • Lead a team of associates in the practice to provide 24x7 maintenance and operations services to Edifecs SaaS clients
  • Manage customer escalations by defining an action plan, identify the appropriate resources and handle internal and external communications
  • Hire, mentor and develop the SaaS Operations team.
  • Work with the Customer Account management team to provide appropriate level of attention and service to high priority accounts
  • Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet client and Edifecs requirements.
  • Continually seek ways to improve efficiency through automations and through various cost saving initiatives.
  • Plan and prioritize application maintenance including deployment of application patches and application upgrades in Edifecs Cloud.
  • Develop/ improve processes to monitor the health of the application in a SaaS setup and take necessary actions to fix the issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute towards overall improvement of the SaaS solution by collaborating with various other departments as required.
  • Understand and applying company policies and procedures

What you will bring:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8+ years’ experience in techno – functional & commercial role
  • 3+ years’ experience in multidimensional issue resolution
  • 2+ years in leading a team
  • Understanding of US Healthcare
  • Knowledge on HIPAA transactions
  • Understanding of following underlying technologies used by Edifecs solutions: Java, JMS, SQL Server/ Oracle, Web/Application Servers like Apache Tomcat/ IBM WAS
  • Experience on at least one integration or ESB software such as Edifecs XEngine Server, TIBCO EMS, IBM WebSphere suite, Web methods, MuleSoft, Intersystem Ensemble
  • Proven expertise in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Ability to build strong relationship across the clients team and within Edifecs
  • Ability to manage multiple SaaS clients
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in change management
  • Ability to work under pressure without getting flustered
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and collaboration skills in partnering with other internal groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
