EG A/S is seeking a visionary and commercially minded Director, Head of Sales, to lead the sales organisation in EG Industrials and accelerate our go-to-market strategy. At EG Industrials, our ambitions are high. We develop the next generation of vertical software, creating sustainable impact for both customers and society. We deliver business-critical solutions to more than 1,000 customers - primarily in the Nordics, but also globally in markets such as the USA and Australia. Our focus areas are Asset Management, Quality Management, and Transport Management Systems.
The business unit operates with a budget of over 250 million DKK, and you will take responsibility for a team of approximately 15 sales and marketing professionals located across multiple global sites. You will report to the BU Manager and be part of the BU’s leadership team, working closely with senior colleagues to ensure alignment and impact.
Inspire teams and win with customers
As Head of Sales in EG Industrials, you will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on driver of sales. Your role is to set the direction for our sales organisation while actively engaging with customers to build strong relationships and close business. You combine the ability to shape long-term strategy with the energy and commitment to lead from the front in the market.
Our portfolio spans 7 products, from enterprise sales to digital channels. Since we are strengthening our digital sales engine, experience in this area will be a strong advantage.
Your key responsibilities:
- Drive the global sales strategy and lead end-to-end sales journeys, focusing on growth across regions and products.
- Ensure predictable revenue growth through consistent quota attainment, pipeline expansion, and accurate forecasting.
- Build and scale the sales and marketing organisation by recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent while accelerating team productivity.
- Implement a data-driven sales and go-to-market strategy, leveraging our CRM as a single source of truth for pipeline management, territory planning, and sales efficiency.
- Define and expand territories while actively supporting sales representatives in closing business.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and Group Functions to maximise customer value and revenue opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and customer needs, translating insights into strategy and input for product innovation.
Your profile

- Proven record of exceeding revenue and growth targets in SaaS, IT consultancy, or similar.
- Strong in building, scaling, and retaining top-performing sales teams.
- Hands-on sales leader with deep knowledge of modern sales processes and digital go-to-market strategies.
- Results-driven with focus on quota attainment, pipeline generation, and customer retention.
- Strong communicator and negotiator at all levels.
- Growth mindset with the ability to develop your team and adapt strategies in dynamic markets.
- Experience expanding and growing international markets.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration; fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.
