Infrastructure cost expert? This job is for you!

You know what a road, bridge or railway project really costs. You have worked with cost estimation, bill of quantities or cost control in infrastructure construction. Now take your expertise into software and make an impact on a whole industry.

As our System Consultant, you are the bridge between infrastructure construction and the software that powers it. You speak the language of cost engineers and project managers, because you have been one.

As part of the team
You'll join EG's team developing and delivering software solutions for the infrastructure industry. The team combines strong industry knowledge with a growing interest in AI-assisted ways of working and works closely with Finnish infrastructure owners and designers.

You'll be based in our Espoo office, working in a hybrid model, and you'll work closely with the rest of the team from day one.

Your day-to-day: keep the data accurate, reliable, and ready for what's next

• Renew and maintain our infrastructure cost and data assets, so customers can always rely on them.

• Update and validate pricing data, and keep emission values in line with current calculation principles.

• Identify and renew nomenclature structures, and help expand the data asset into new infrastructure sub-areas.

• Use digital tools, and increasingly AI, to support and speed up data work.

• Collaborate closely with product development and customer teams to keep the data asset relevant and correct.

• Contribute your perspective as we explore a new platform with updated technology for the years ahead.

You are the ideal candidate if you

Must-have

• Have a background in the infrastructure sector (e.g. civil engineering, municipal engineering) or equivalent practical experience; recent graduates are welcome.

• Have a genuine interest in using digital tools as part of your everyday work.

• Work carefully and systematically, since precision matters when you're maintaining data assets.

• Interest in or experience with AI tools.

• Are fluent in Finnish and English, spoken and written.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with the Fore software or infrastructure cost estimation.
