Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the QA team:

- Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of QA professionals.

- Set clear expectations, objectives, and performance goals for team members.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

2. Develop QA strategies and processes:

- Establish and implement comprehensive QA processes, standards, and methodologies.

- Define quality assurance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product quality and team performance.

- Continuously improve QA processes to streamline testing and enhance efficiency.

3. Test planning and execution:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and test plans for various projects.

- Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.

- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.

4. Automation strategy:

- Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.

- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools to align with project requirements.

5. Defect management:

- Establish effective defect reporting, tracking, and resolution processes.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and accurate defect fixes.

6. Continuous improvement:

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and methodologies.

- Promote a culture of quality across the organization by providing training, workshops, and awareness sessions.

7. Compliance and standards:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.

- Stay updated with emerging QA trends and technologies, integrating them into the QA strategy.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience (10+ years) in quality assurance, with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

- Experience in Cyber Security is a plus.

- Certifications such as ISTQB are desirable.
