We are seeking an experienced Principal Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in the field of data security. As the Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our SaaS product.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure that quality requirements are well-defined and integrated into the development lifecycle.

Design and execute test plans, test cases, test suites, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our product.

Continuously improve and enhance the quality process, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage.

Analyze and report on quality metrics, test results, and defects to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

BSc in computer science or other related field /graduate of IDF technology unit

At least 5 years experience as an Automation Engineer

3+ years of experience in Python.

2+ years of experience with AWS/Azure/GCP

Experience in C# an advantage

Experience in giving code reviews and mentoring team members.

Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale automation infrastructures.

Pytest an advantage

Context switching

Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripting languages

In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Proficient in test planning, test design, and test implementation across various types of testing, including functional, performance, security, and scalability testing.

Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience with large scale systems or products for enterprise customer

Passion for people, quality, technology, and architecture

Excellent team player.

Fluent in English - reading and writing.
