The Alliances Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships between Forcepoint field sellers and identified strategic alliances partnerships, primarily focusing on AWS. The Alliances manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, fostering and facilitating joint opportunity pursuits to drive incremental revenue growth. The Alliances Manager represents and cross sells the entire Forcepoint product and services via joint alliances partnerships in collaboration with Regional Forcepoint Channel Sales Managers. This role will report to the Global Leader of Channel Sales. This position is fully remote. The Alliances Manager should expect 25%-50% travel.

Responsibility:

  • Responsible for building pipeline, generating demand and driving new revenue for Forcepoint solutions in collaboration with AWS and Forcepoint field sellers.
  • Build and develop relationships with AWS sales teams, as well as Forcepoint channel sales managers and field sellers, in order to ensure effective collaboration and help us reach our goal of becoming trusted advisors to our partners.
  • Work independently in developing a territory and own the operational process to facilitate the end-to-end sales process to facilitate and close a strong services business.
  • Build and own strategic alliance relationships, develop executive relationships.
  • Act as an AWS/ strategic alliances thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, write blogs, and running workshops.

  • Share the voice of partner and alliance internally to influence new use cases and solutions on AWS platform or with the strategic alliance reference architecture.
  • Develop a cloud service provider program including tools, benefits, that energizes and empowers our Forcepoint partners.
  • Drive awareness and enable new and existing Forcepoint partners and field sellers on the Cloud Services Program to identify and close new Forcepoint opportunities.
  • Develop collateral relevant to the cloud services program and ensure that it is disseminated to the Forcepoint partners and field sellers.
  • Monitor, manage and report on key cloud service provider initiatives and metrics.
  • Manage the development, delivery and follow-up of key cloud service provider program improvement areas.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7+ years experience in building indirect sales (channel) or business development relationships.
  • Strong ability to multi-task between tactical programs and strategic execution of revenue to drive short and long term company goals.
  • Hunter mentality who can identify and develop pipeline.
  • Good at building and maintaining executive relationships.
  • Experience with AWS strongly preferred.
  • Strong presentation, communications skills and people skills.
  • Experience with Asana or other project management software a plus.
  • Strong project management skills preferred.
