Forcepoint is building a new world-class Endpoint organization in Tel Aviv, Israel.

We are looking for an experienced full stack, Java engineer to join a team developing an existing DLP product and a next-generation product.

The DLP product helps customers secure their DATA wherever it is, helps to protect against data breaches, and helps ensure compliance.

As a full-stack engineer, you will work with Java/web technologies including cloud technologies.

About the team:

The team is responsible for the management system of the DLP product. The team is responsible for the development of new features of the DLP product and supports existing customers.

The team is responsible for all Java code in the product.

The team works in agile – team members divided between various scrum teams

Responsibilities:

Ownership (design + development) of new features for the existing DLP product.

Work as part of a scrum team member working closely with QA members, scrum master, and direct manager.

Work with the support team for customer escalations

Mentor junior employees – code reviews, training

Requirements

· BSc in computer science or other related field /graduate of IDF technology unit

· At least 4-5 years of Java/JVM-based programming experience

· Technical knowledge and experience of the Spring framework

· Technical knowledge and experience with containers such as Tomcat/Jetty etc.

· Technical knowledge and experience of builds using Maven and/or Jenkins

· Experience in client-side (front-end) web development.

· Fluent English - reading and writing

Advantage:

· ReactJS Client-side rendering

· Knowledge and experience of RDBMS (MSSQL Server/Postgres/MySQL)

· Amazon Web Services

· Elastic Search or similar big data / NoSQL systems

· Knowledge of JSF

· Docker or Kubernetes experience

· Experience with large-scale/high-volume systems

· Experience in troubleshooting production issues and customer escalations
