As an Inside Sales Representative, you will look after existing Forcepoint customers and will be responsible for the revenue generated from a portfolio of existing Forcepoint accounts. This involves cross-selling, up-selling and renewal of existing business across the range of Forcepoint security solutions within accounts in a predefined region.

Essential Function:

  • Sells the company’s products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
  • Must close the sale on products, systems and/or services.
  • May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities.
  • Requires application of in-depth technical knowledge of products, systems and services (may include contract documentation).
  • Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. Has thorough knowledge of company products, systems and services.
  • May direct customers to website or other company resources for information.
  • May act as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, and/or products.
  • May establish and maintain relationships with channel partners.
  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
  • Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
  • Minimal business travel or work outside office required.
  • Recognized as advanced individual contributor with mastery of sales techniques.
  • Considered an expert on company products/services or area of specialization.
  • Utilizes knowledge of industry/clients to recommend updates or changes to product/service offerings.
  • Responsible for selling the company’s products or services, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
  • Assigned to large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. May have a leadership role.
  • Completes extremely complex sales.
  • Utilizes strong knowledge of product/service and industry to identify and evaluate client needs and recommend the best solution.
  • Mature base of accounts and high level of revenue responsibility. Sales completed with no supervision.
  • Large network of contacts with highly visible industry presence.
  • Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing clients May lead growth into new and emerging areas.
  • May assist others on critical/complicated sales.
  • Industry experience preferred.​
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
