Director Of Engineering

The India team is working on a new and innovative cybersecurity solution and is looking for a Dierctor of Engineering.

This is a unique opportunity to Build a team and lead a large group of experienced, highly skilled engineers who are building the future of Cyber security, working in a creative and innovative environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a development team, be responsible for recruitment, retention, growth, culture, and provide professional guidance and vision
  • Working with your direct reports to ensure a high performing team that supports our scaling organization
  • Cultivate an environment where team members are empowered and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and belonging
  • Ensure that individuals on the team learn, grow,and advance in their respective careers
  • Attract, develop, and grow top technical talent
  • Overseeing the execution and technical roadmaps of your pods
  • Plan strategies for the development of designs and products on schedule and on budget
  • Prioritize, delegate and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables
  • Develop new product concepts
  • Support development teams in designing and building software.
  • Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed
  • Create a shared understanding of decision making, direction, and progress for the team -
  • Responsible for overall planning, execution and success of important technical projects.
  • Working with engineering, design, and product leadership to ensure alignment and progress towards meeting milestones.
  • Lead complex technical projects.
  • Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance

Who You Are:

  • BSc in Computer Science/ related field
  • 6+ years of experience as a manager at least 2 years of Director/ VP R&D position
  • Experience in managing a group of over 25 people.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on in the area of a SaaS environment that uses Agile methodologies
  • Proven experience in designing and managing (owning!) Data related infrastructure (Data lakes, ETL pipelines, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design, implementation and test of large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience in building large scale B2B SaaS products
  • Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
  • Prior experience in cyber security
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Team player, 'can-do' attitude, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.
