What will you do?
· Take ownership on feature delivery from design through development and testing to full scale deployment.
· Lead by being a role model of engineering excellence delivering products in high quality and cadence.
· Collaborate to solve problems and overcome design challenges with team/scrum members and colleagues.
What experience or knowledge should you bring?
· BSc in Computer Science/ related field
· 10+ years of experience with Java server-side technologies
· 4+ years of experience with AWS technologies
· Experience as an architect/tech lead.
· Proven experience in designing and managing (owning!) Data related infrastructure (Data lakes, ETL pipelines, etc.)
· Demonstrated knowledge of design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems
· Experience with big data databases e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB or Elasticsearch.
· Experience with relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL
Advantage:
· Great interpersonal skills.
· Experience with one of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
· Experience in Security.
· Experience in Python
