Responsibilities include:

  • Opportunity Management:
    • Monitor opportunities in the pipeline and take proactive actions to ensure accurate scoping and quoting of projects.
    • Manage opportunities in Salesforce and update notes for leaders and resource managers in professional services
  • Team Readiness:
    • Ensure the professional services delivery team is appropriately alerted about incoming projects and prepared to deliver what is in the pipeline.
    • Proactively adapt existing service offerings or propose new ones to align with customer and partner business needs.
  • Target Achievement:
    • Collaborate closely with the delivery team to secure professional services targets.
    • Determine appropriate service offerings for each opportunity based on customer/partner budget, expectations, and use cases.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Define and provide detailed proposals (statements of work) for prospective projects.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team during the presales phase by clarifying professional services processes, approach, and engagement lifecycle.
    • Engage in price negotiations with the sales team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance) when projects deviate from standard terms and conditions.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Attend external meetings with customers during the pre-sales phase to scope projects, set expectations, and address general questions about professional services.
  • Desirable Background:
    • Previous experience with sales processes, pricing, and negotiation
    • Basic understanding of relevant technologies (Cloud solutions, Networking)

This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. You'll be a key bridge between sales, delivery, and other internal departments.
