Forcepoint is looking for a Deal Strategy Manager to cover the North America Region.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Partner with the salesforce team to understand the competitive landscape and strategize key opportunities for the business
  • Review deals of various sizes (range could be below $20k up to $5m+) and make recommendations to improve pricing and commercials where appropriate
  • Work cross functionally to ensure deals are structured to maximize opportunity and minimize risk to achieve win: win results for Forcepoint and our customers
  • Manage larger more complex deals through the sales cycle and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and aware of the impacts to their functional area
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of tools to drive better and more transparent decision making
  • Work closely with regional sales leadership to help control pricing and optimizing sales efficiency measuring to key KPI’s
  • Work with various leadership and operational teams to drive process improvement with the aim to reduce complexity and simplify the sales cycle
  • Build an understanding of the key levers / tools available to meet customer needs and move away from pricing being the only lever.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience or in-depth knowledge of the Cyber Security industry
  • Experience or in-depth knowledge covering US and NAM markets
  • Experience or in-depth knowledge of SaaS / Subscriptions / Software
  • 5yrs+ experience of working in a similar role (either Deal Desk / Pricing / Sales Ops / Sales Finance)
  • Knowledge of finance to understand impact to profitability
  • Knowledge of legal for commercial terms / risk management
  • Knowledge of order management to ensure deals can be transacted
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and still able to have a recommended path forward
  • Ability to articulate relevant information clearly to the appropriate stakeholders and influence where needed
  • Experience of negotiation frameworks and how to use this to our advantage
  • Enjoys building relationships and partner with many people simultaneously
  • Prioritize workload and multitask during busy periods
  • Ability to speak a second language

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Degree / Professional qualifications in relevant fields an advantage
  • May need to travel.10%-20% of the time
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule at times to meet deadlines
